I have hide entries set to 9,000 days and it is still filtering correctly for me.

I knew place filtering was somewhat broken in the latest WME beta, but didn't have time to investigate this back when it was still just a beta issue.

As it appears that along with the visible changes brought over from beta in the latest production release, they've also brought over whatever it was that was breaking place filtering, I'll try and prioritise a fix...

Hmm... Not too sure what's going on here - having now got some time to look into the place filtering issue, everything appears to have started working again just fine in both beta and production :? Is anyone else still seeing problems with place filtering, or has it started working for you guys too?

If anyone is still seeing problems with this, please let me know if you're working in beta or production, which server pool (USA, ROW or IL), which browser, and (for Chrome users) whether you installed URO from the Chrome Web Store or from Greasyfork.

Still can't reproduce this even with everything here matching up with the system setup you've described - Chrome+Tampermonkey/Greasyfork-installed scripts is now my primary development and day to day working WME environment, and here its behaviour on the US server pool matches up with its behaviour on the ROW server pool I'm normally working on...

Assuming this isn't simply some odd transient WME issue that comes and goes in sync with yours and mine testing attempts, have you reproduced this problem if URO+ is the only script running in WME?

And also, just to make sure this isn't something stupidly simple, are any of the other filtering options still working OK when the place filtering isn't working? Remember that URO+ recently gained a setting (misc tab) which disables filtering above a given zoom level, and there could be other issues (such as a corrupted script install or saved configuration) which would prevent anything working correctly, so worth checking that we're not chasing the wrong problem here...

I think we might be talking about two different things here - the "filter by state" option in URO+ isn't referring to regional states or anything like this, it's referring to the state of the properties set for the place object compared to the filter settings for those properties. And all of those settings/states are adjusted within the Places tab in URO+, as in the screengrab posted earlier.

I can't see any unwanted interaction between URO+ and WMEFU here. What I did however notice is that the "invert behaviour of above filters" option is now a bit misleading, as the inversion is also being applied to the filter settings positioned below it in the UI...

Would this explain the behaviour you're seeing in the feed, or does the filter behaviour genuinely change depending on whether or not you've got WMEFU enabled?

There's not really a need to provide an inversion option for the handful of filter options at the end of the list, because these can be inverted easily enough using their own controls. The next release of URO+ will therefore cause the invert option to behave once again as its name suggests, leaving the options below it unaffected.
