I have actually asked Myriades to translate this script earlier and I was told that it would be done, just not when :-)

Autresponses like that would make the mass-responding heaps easier :-)
randyboy i think my script is much eaier to use and has some features that make the whole UR process easier.

I have 4 functions to combined then i think i can release the current state to the public. Afterwards there is talk of combining some of the features form each of our scripts.
I would very much like to see what you have to offer even before you are merging.
So if you would share the script I (and probably many others) would be really happy :-)

I have been working on a script to help reply to URs. But I wasn’t quite ready to release it to the public.

I thought that a fully automated system would get me in trouble so I have it set up to be used on a one by one basis.

I didn’t see Myriades script till I was pretty far along with mine so Instead of the drop down in each UR mine adds another tab to the “me” window. There are some steps I automated to remove clicks the script altogether really speeds up the entire process. But since I wasn’t ready to go completely public I will send you both an PM with more details.

My script works a little bit differently but is also meant to reply to user requests. Our goal is to speed up and simplify the process and not to fully automate it. We want the editor to stay involved for the entire UR process.

The script has a tab full of comments that when clicked will be put into the UR's reply box. If the comments do not work for your area there is also support for a custom list with a unlimited number of comments.

Currently the script works along with URO+ to filter what URs are seen. I have a section of presets / bookmarks for URO+ that show you different types of URs. This alone saves us a lot of time where we don't have to fiddle around in URO+ to see URs.

I have uploaded video to my google drive showing the script being used on a couple of fake URs I made with the live map. Then I click onto a couple of URs that need a 4 day reminder sent. The first 35 seconds I am showing how a couple of the URO+ presets work, then I get into dealing with URs.

This video can be seen here https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4cTY_ ... sp=sharing

In order for the script to work you have to click on a UR then open the reply box then click on a comment in the list.

Until you click on a comment in the my list nothing will happen.

After clicking on a comment depending on your settings the UR status might be set and then the reply comment will be filled in.

The editor must first click a comment for the rest of the settings to be applied or the script will ignore the UR and not apply any of the options. Afterwards nothing happens until you click send button in the UR at that point the auto save or auto close, auto zoom out, and auto reload map, will be applied. When the map is reloaded it reapplies the URO+ filters, causing the one you just did to disappear then you can easily find the next to UR to repeat the process.

Comments and ideas are welcome.
Thanks

A bit late to this exchange, but I wanted to express strong support for this idea.
The General consensus is that, even if a UR doesn’t have a reporter comment you can sometimes still figure out the problem. Because of this the feeling is we should put eyes on each UR before sending a comment.
I am also told that a mass responder script would mess with Waze’s anti cheat functions and possibly result in bans.

I have a script as well that allows custom messages to URs along with accessing all URs on screen.

Im weary about automation but it can be implemented in short order.

Mine is kinda like the french script (which i didnt see till a little while into dev either) but it auto chooses the message based on the type of error reported. (general error, missing road, incorrect directions, etc)

Im not ready to go public with the final product as i wanted it but i can put together a "Raid Version" that just grabs all the URs on screen and auto submits a custom message per type of error.
