A problem that UrComments is causing with the new WME release.
Header and "Next place" section are out of proportion on Chrome when reviewing new pictures/places, regardless of browser zoom level. When UrComments is disabled, it goes back to normal.
since i never look at places i did not notice this happening. sometime after the mega raid i will be releasing a new version. a workaround for this issue will be included. thanks!
Rick, this is still happening as of the latest update.
sorry this last update was a for crayzee and only added the choice for the hebrew list. i rarely look at places/ place updates and i forgot i fixed the place window in the testing version.
i am chasing some last bugs and testing some last few options. then i will make an updated site with some new instructions before i move this to the testing group. i dont have an eta on release it all depends how it goes with the testing group.

the presets are preset!
mentally i think i had it worked out how i could have custom presets, but never got around to programming it. since then i have been moving away from the presets and i am not sure if i will be revisiting them. i guess if i got bored and wanted to maintain a 5th script i could make the presets a standalone script, but no promises.

For the custom responses, I've not had time to play with it, but is the idea that the user edits the script directly to give the responses you want?
you should install the custom script and then edit the custom script directly. make sure to keep a backup of the list elsewhere. sometimes i have to push updates to the custom file which would overwrite your comments.

I still need to do this.
The canned script covers quite well, but I still have 4 or 5 that I end up doing a copy paste from a text file on my desktop.
a lot of effort went into the comments team list. there are a couple more that will be coming that have LA in mind. if you would send me the comments, i will run them by the comments team.

Kayos_On_The_Road wrote:What about using the same principle as URO+ and using a checkbox for the number of days for followup and closing due to no response? I personally don't have an issue with the current setup and days, but the checkbox is just an idea.
the version i am working on has textareas for the reminder days and the close days, but no checkboxes as this is something that should not be disabled, also they should not be set to 0, or set to the same, and the reminder must be always less than the close days.
if i can find and fix a couple of bugs i don't see me self continuing with the presets.

hebermc wrote:How complicated would it be for me to make the "URO+ 4 Day Follow Up" a 5 day Follow Up?
I would also like a 2+ (5 + 2) Follow Up for URs with 2 comments (by me), had a quick look at the code and thought it might be doable, just not sure where is "everywhere" I should change the settings.
The comment itself doesn't say anything about the elapsed time... it is equally suitable for 4 days or 4 weeks as a reminder bump to the reporter.
we intentionally didn't put any reference to days in the comments so they can be used at anytime. i am under the opinion that every UR should get a chance no matter how old it is.
i am unable to say if this is the same with the other language files or any of the individual custom files.

5 days later a reminder and then 2 days later a notice of closure.
the presets and the new version of the script would not support this. it would work if you sent the reminder at 2 days then closed 5 days after that. this would also give people a bit more time to reply...

rickzabel, I realized that there is an option for the "500 mile limit" comment. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the limit should be 1000 miles
? I've personally updated the Custom comment list, but could this change also be updated to the main list?
i had seen a waze help site that had 500 miles listed, i just found a google help site that says 1000.
that comment has been updated to 1000 miles and should be seen on the next major release.

true but the presets makes this easier and quicker.
james890526 wrote:Plus I think rickzabel is hinting that he's not gonna continue updating the presets in the future?
We will see how my current test works out, currently there are issues on the ROW server...

(the close/solve group, which was near the bottom of the 'first page' has jumped to the top. The CommentTeam one still maintains the older order, the one I favor).
I was happy with them in the order that they were in.
How do I get that back?
EDIT: I think I see what happened. The 'Custom' file has been overwritten with a new version, removing my customizations. I will try overwriting with my saved version.
EEDIT: Yep, that fixed it.
Thanks for the update, i didn't think an auto update would happen to the custom comments if i left the version number the same. the custom file has the most current version of the comments and has been updated as we make changes to the wording. it is worth noting that we changed the formatting / grammar and added a few more comments.
