If my mouse is over the UrComments window and I use the mouse wheel to scroll downward in the window text, the whole WME map area (right edge of screen) scroll bar is effected in addition to the UrComments window.

Even with URComments disabled this was still happening so i just disabled every script and extension and then turned them back on one by one. With everything disabled (including URComments) I only see this happening when toolbox is enabled.

Currently not possible, i have been working on another script that deals with segments so i know how to look up street names but i still do not know how to work with the selection manager. if i ever have time to figure out selected segments i can try to add this feature.

There seems to have been some change to the WME interface that is adding white space at the beginning and end of the user's description, as well as after line breaks. Is it possible to update the script to strip out the excess white space?
i was able to work on this should be fixed in the next (still unreleased) version
Also, from looking at the comments custom list code, I see that $URD is the magic word that substitutes the user's description into the comment text. Are there any other magic words that could be used?
$urd = wazers description

the next version also has $SELSEGS, this allows for the names of 2 selected segments to be put in the UR. the text that gets added is "the intersection of streetName1 and streetName2"

the usage example is "Volunteer responding - You reported a problem near $SELSEGS, Waze did not send us enough information to fix your request. Would you please let us know what went wrong with the route Waze gave you? Would you tell us your destination as you entered it into Waze? Thanks!",

I've restarted my WIN7 machine, Tampermonkey seems up to date and UR Comments is green for go in Tampermonkey. UR Comments no longer appears at the upper-left of the WME screen for me to select as a tab and the automagic that it does for URs has stopped. Anybody else run into this situation? Thx, David
I just installed and tested the script and I am not having this issue. Do you recall what comment list you had selected? Also are you getting any errors from URC in the console log?

KuniaKid wrote:I found an issue with the latest drives display. Please see this forum entry. I've narrowed it down to URComments as the culprit.
the older version of the script used to modify the UR window and the places windows, now drives looks like it reuses the same window. I will be posting another version of the testing script in a bit, hopefully soon we can move it to released.
Thanks

Since the UR window is now "floating", is it possible to allow it to be moved on the screen?

I like to have URC configured not to auto-close or auto-save, but, I tend to work from east to west, so new URs scroll into the map from the left.
Particularly when working near LA, the density of URs is such that I don't want to scroll more than a few "inches" into the heavy area due to the browser lagging, but that means that I have to close the comment window to pick up the URs on the map "under" it.

I'm sure the developers did not anticipate that we might have 500+ URs in an area not much wider than the UR window.
supermedics's script completely destroys the ur window and redraws it in side the side tabs. i don't know if it still works with the recent changes. but as for URC i am trying not to make as many changes to the wme interface so i don't have to chase around as many issues when things are changed

russblau wrote:Using Chrome, I get double scroll-bars in the UR dialog box when using URComments, at least in some cases where there are several comments on a report. Here's screenshots of the same UR, with UR Comments active and with it disabled. Notice that the first one has two nested scrollbars, the second has only one. What's really annoying is that sometimes the UR dialog will open up scrolled down so far that it is entirely whitespace, and I have to scroll up to see anything.
i am aware of this and in the next version removed most of the changes i made to the ur window.

bz2012 wrote:I just made a small mod in the code on the main program that I really like:

I changed "Double Click" to "Dbl Clk" and that shortened the messages so they all fit on a single line.
I suggest that this be adopted or at least provided as an option.
I suspect all editors will understand Dbl Clk as easily as the longer form and appreciate the shorter form.

Thanks again for an excellent aid.
//(double click) comment add-on
if (URCommentsArray === URCommentsArray[CloseNotIdentifiedPosistion] && localStorage.getItem('DBLClk7DCAutoSend') == "yes" || localStorage.getItem('DBLClkAll') == "yes") {
if (URCommentsArray !== "<br>") {
d = d + '<a id="URComments-commentDBLCLK' + CurrentIndex + '" class="URComments" style="color:' + colorrr + '" Title="Double click here to auto send - ' + Title + '"> (Dbl Clk)</a>';
}

In the next version; when using the custom comments file you will be able to fully define all text, tooltips, and messages / alerts, to say whatever you would like.
