I've had issues with "Me" not remaining toggled off unless turned off in Greasemonkey, but HH has been working wonderfully on FF here, and Chrome at work.
"me" was written by someone else, hard hats just replaces the editor icon

There has been an update to hardhats in relation to that waze update. there is now a check box to enable the color hardhats that this script used before. there is also a check box to enable following.
they are both under wazes settings tab.

If the person you are following moves around the map, you move along with them.

You just clicked on their hard hat. That was when the script was working, it just throws console errors now.

Thought.

How hard would it be to build certain hardhats that had roles built into them?

I.E - GC, LC, Mentors Etc.

Would it be hard to build lists into the script like TB has for GC?

Then you would just have to update the lists every now and again.

Just make custom hard hats trump. [emoji1]

I am no scripter, but I would assume there are ways to make certain criteria take precedence over others, or is JavaScript harder to program like that?

I like the "follow" capability but would greatly appreciate it if the script would only follow when I click a hard hat with a modifier, such as CTRL, ALT, or SHIFT. This way, when I'm trying to click a segment, if somebody slides under my cursor, I don't accidentally start following them around.

In addition, a hotkey to unfollow would be nice. I've had times where the person I am following is bouncing all over, and it's hard to click them to unfollow when they do that. I think ESC would be appropriate, but if there's any hotkey, that'd be better than nothing.

Thanks for considering my suggestions, and thanks for your work on this script! :)

Ditto... haven't used the field but was wondering. Is it like a local editor "watch list" that replaces their hard hat with a dunce cap?

That's funny.

I'd like to add a feature request to be able to hide the box since I'm out of real estate on the left column and am having to scroll frequently since Validator and a couple of other scripts also use the "me" tab.

I know I can reduce the size to about a half line, but there's still a good inch of area used by the title font and save button.
Alternatively, it would be fine as-is if it were moved to the bottom of the column under Validator.
