Pressing suppress junctions does nothing. Turning off UR-MP - starts working :D

A problem I have been noticing: many 'closed' URs are appearing without the 'green' color and despite the fact I have the 'hide closed' box checked.

This becomes clear when I click on one of the links and the URComments box comes up with its green on.

The 'hide closed' box DOES work, because if I uncheck the box, then MANY greens show up.
And I think that sometimes when I close a UR, it DOES get handled properly.

Not sure when it doesn't, yet.

Could this be for URs that have been closed since you last scanned? Without a fresh scan, the script doesn't "know" they've been closed. If you have "hide closed" ticked and you target a closed UR, you should see it immediately disappear from the list as the script detects it's closed.

A similar thing happens when you comment on a UR. The script doesn't pick up this fact. You need to save or refresh the map layers, then "target" the UR again for the comment count to increase (and for it to be hidden if you're hiding URs with comments).

Yes that seems to be what is happening. I guess I assumed [yea, I know that is a mistake] that it kept track of what happened 'knew' about these changes. :)

+1

I use this script a lot. :D

But when I need to find place updates, I have to go back to the old methods :(

URO+ has the same problem, and it bugs me big time. I'd love to know where WME is hiding all of these recently saved bits of data, because they don't show up in the properties of the relevant UR etc. objects (hence the reason our scripts aren't seeing them), and I'll be damned if I can find them anywhere else in the objects that WME makes visible. As Ian says, it's not until you refresh WME that the new data gets copied into the object properties and becomes visible to scripts.

Sounds like there must be some 'hidden' or 'shadow' array of temporary data on the WME server, it gets updated with a 'save' but the data doesn't get transferred to the 'visible' database until the 'refresh' is done.

I don't know how difficult it would be to 'mirror' that data by maintaining a copy of saved data, and purge the 'mirror' when the refresh is done.

Perhaps the various scripts could share a single 'mirror'.
