I know this may not be the best time to ask for this but I have a question about the feasibility for a potential new function that would seem approriate for Toolbox.

There is a common hidden problem that makes it impossible to delete nodes under certain conditions as I'm sure you know. This is asked often and I was again asked today about why someone couln't delete a node where both segments seem to be exactly the same:

In fact they were not exactly the same, but the problem was hidden until you set them as two-way segments again and you could then see that the speed limits did not match for the opposite but hidden direction:

Would it be possible to have a highlight for such cases along with maybe a quick fix button similar to the highlight and autofix for RevCons?

I know this doesn't cause any routing problem, but it could make it easier for editors to realize what's wrong before posting the permalink in the forum asking why they can't delete the node.

The roundabout options are not supposed to be highlighted unless you selected a roundabout segment. Same for other ones, they only become active when the selection you made allows for them to be used.

I don't think that's a Toolbox problem. The function exists in the native WME and it currently is broken, staff is working on a fix.

The logic is that revcons are no longer considered as a problem any more. Therefore, mass removing revcons is considered as point harvesting without improving the map. ;)

For me it's more of an OCD problem. :mrgreen:

Kidding aside, in CH it can't be seen as points farming because we fixed them for so long (even after they were declared harmless) that we almost have none on the map and you'd loose more time looking for them than actually making any edit points.
For us now they mostly act as "flags" pointing to new editors. They help noticing edits that you may otherwise have missed or overlooked when randomly scrolling the map.

I'm actually used to press Q+W often just for the purpose of removing them. I'm sure a lot of other editors do that too. Changing this without and opt-in option would probably cause people to come here and complain that it's no longer working.
