So if I'm honest, I have no plans currently to add this kind of functionality in the near future, my apologies.

Well, I guess so. To me, the real purpose is to save time... without the script, you have to move the mouse, click, type, click 'verified'. With the script, you have to move the mouse and click. With a keyboard shortcut, you could just type a keystroke.

It depends how you work, but for me, pressing Cmd-Alt-5 is much faster than moving the mouse over to the 55 button, because I have a pretty big screen and my mouse is all the way over in the editing area.

That said, if you really don't want to, of course that's fine. Another script maker could probably do it.

It's not a big deal, I don't know enough to do it myself, just asking if you would. You won't, and that's OK, but I would not have known that if I had not asked ;)

A possible way to make it work:

(1) Default "click" action is to set the selected speed limit for all drivable directions of selected segments. Both directions for two-way segments, allowed direction only for one-way segments.

(2) Shift-click (or other) action is to force the selected speed limit on both directions of selected segments, even if not drivable (i.e., even on the not-allowed direction of a one-way).

The latter doesn't need to be very obvious, as its primary use is in debugging undeletable nodes. In normal operation (setting speed limits on roads), you don't ever need to shift-click.

Hi beautiful people
They noted that this script has an error when setting the speed to Argentina ?
In my country the speed is measured in km / h while the script is seteado in miles.
For example the streets in Argentina have a value of 40 km / h and using the script leaves them 64, one knows how to solve this problem?
Wazers hope your answers , of course thank you for your time = )

Can you update Speedhelper for Greece? Now exist only 3 limits: 50, 90 and 130 km/h,

please add beside the existing ones: 20, 30, 40, 60, 70, 80, 100, 110, 120 km/h

Thanks!

splendid script and do keep up the good work sir!
Thank you very much in advance.

Mabuhay!
