Hello,

The soft does not work with my new Samsung Galaxy s7 edge, it worked fine on my 7 Huawei mate. I have an error message : "Waze skin dir not found : /storage/emulated/0/waze/skins/default/day/12".
My waze is installed on the device (not on sd card). I noticed that with a file explorer, the directory /storage/emulated/ appears empty. A limitation of the galaxy s7 or marshmallow ?

Here are the path to the files

EDITOR THEME
Code: Select all
/data/data/com.waze/waze/skins/day/8/

DAY THEME
Code: Select all
/data/data/com.waze/waze/skins/day/12/

NIGHT THEME
Code: Select all
/data/data/com.waze/waze/skins/night/

Thanks

Just checked on my 6.0.1 and it seems you miss "default" in a path:
Code: Select all
/data/data/com.waze/waze/skins/default/day/8/

The same valid for "12" and "night". Also, App needs to have a root permission and you have to have rooted phone.

Also, please be aware if it copied, you must ether set READ permission to everyone, or change owner.
After manual copy it is root and could not be read by Waze.
Code: Select all
root@:/data/data/com.waze/waze/skins/default/day/8 #
ls -l
total 32
-rw-rw---- 1 root root 6822 2016-07-14 14:32 schema
-rw------- 1 root root 6472 2016-07-14 14:30 schema.backup
root@:/data/data/com.waze/waze/skins/default/day/8 #
chown u0_a109:u0_a109 schema
root@:/data/data/com.waze/waze/skins/default/day/8 #
ls -l
total 32
-rw-rw---- 1 u0_a109 u0_a109 6822 2016-07-14 14:32 schema
-rw------- 1 root root 6472 2016-07-14 14:30 schema.backup

Where "u0_a109:u0_a109" basically user and group of Waze App and it is "unique".

It is a problem with marshmallow. I have Waze 4 and Android M on my LG G4, and this app can't save skins to Waze. It says it does, but the colors don't change. Apparently you need root access now to change color schemes if you have Marshmallow. https://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 0#p1326780

Hi toggeli. Can you include option to edit Alternative routes colors?

Can't update under android 5.0 (tablet). :(
Getting error code 963, then it tries to install and error code 907 follows. Same problem, when I try to install it new after deleting.
No problem under android 4.3 (mobile phone )
Regards R66DE
Edit: When I downgrade the Google Playstore, then the update works fine. Seems to be a problem with the "newer" versions of Playstore on 5.0

Hi, I made a visual editor for color schemes on Android (Toggelis Waze Editor). Tell me if you like it and what features you'd like to see.

The editor currently works with Waze 3.x only but will be adapted as soon as I can get a version of Waze 4 (or a beta) to play with.

Hi, would it be possible to add the option to edit colors as hexadecimal codes? The color picker is great but there are circumstances when a hex code would be welcome, to ensure coherent cross platform color selection.
