[Script] WME State DOT Reports

Post by MapOMatic
Displays road (and other) reports published by state Departments Of Trasportation (DOT) in WME. Use the side panel to select your state, then use the table to jump directly to reports or click them on the map. Hide categories of reports or archive individual reports. Reports will automatically un-archive if updated by your state's DOT.

Currently supports:
Idaho
Indiana
Iowa
Kentucky
Louisiana
Minnesota
Nebraska
Rhode Island

https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/20680 ... ot-reports

Note: Does not work in Greasemonkey yet. Please use Tampermonkey instead (there is a Firefox add-on for Tampermonkey now).

If your state is not supported yet and you would like me to look into it, leave a post here or send me a PM. I can't guarantee any other states can be added, or that I'll have the time / ability to do so, but I will at least take a look.

Thanks to all the other script developers out there, whose scripts I studied and shamelessly clipped to form pieces of this script. I would name you individually, but there are so many...

Is this Script still active as far as being developed? I've noticed issues in Iowa since the state has started sending out winter road conditions with icons over roadways that can't be loaded.

Thanks for the report.

It looks like some of the states that use this 511 reporting system have updated to display some issues as line geometry (e.g. road closed due to weather conditions) instead of just single point icons. The script wasn't designed to handle that, but I'll add it to the to-do list.

I would be interested in this for South Dakota if you can integrate their data.

I have been using this for a little while in Kentucky and I can't recommend it enough to the other states that are supported. The feed really helps get you to the right spot on the map for accident closures or construction. Great script.
