And now that the beta went live without warning, it no longer works in the primary WME.

Here's hoping this gets fixed soon, thanks for the efforts!

One small glimmer of happiness in the new WME now that the script is back, is that you can provide an updated start value for HN numbering without exiting HN mode. That is pretty sweeet, no more saving/dumping HN mode to set a new start number. :ugeek:

EDIT: Feature request withdrawn, but you can see it quoted below in the next post, lol.

Why, yes, it totally does. Outstanding!

Note to self: Read the documentation.

I'm such a dope.

Thanks!

I did as well. I believe this was mentioned in the WME release thread. Good to have the comment here as well.

Sometimes when I am in HN mode, I can use this script, but sometimes when I go into it, the left panel grays out and I can't use the script. I've never figured out why this is. It might be a script conflict, but I thought I'd run it by in here and see if anyone knows of the culprit right off before I dig into it.

Back in 2017 I posted a feature request here to add additional interval options, but I'm afraid I was asking too much. However, I have been consistently running into places where there are varying and dynamic intervals of 4 or 6 or even 8 or 10.

There is only one custom field option, so I set it to 4, and then use the shortcuts to insert extra HNs to quickly bounce forward with combinations of +2 and +4 to get to what I need next, then go back and delete the extras.

Finally got tired of the going back and deleting, so -- for the first time ever in my life -- I took a stab at modifying a script. And I was successful! :D

My version of the script now has hard-coded options to jump +1 +2 +4 +6 and also still has the custom field. Keyboard shortcuts now use the ERTYU keys instead of ERT (+1 is now on U, etc).

This post is to request to make this a change to the official script. Now that I was able to do it myself, I know it isn't asking too much! 8-)

Bumping this thread for consideration of formalizing the custom enhancement I made, two posts up...

Does anyone else run into times where the left panel dims when you go into HN mode, making it impossible to access the settings of this script right when you need them the most? If so, have you been able to identify the cause or find a workaround?

Just came back to check on the status of the various mods some of us have made and whether or not any of them will get added to the official script, and now I see the author is inactive....  I'd be happy to post the fork version of my mod that has built in shortcuts for 2-4-6-X, but I've never posted a script before.... and that said I'm honestly now more interested in the 1-10 version if I can get that - especially if it can still also include the custom field so maybe we can get 1-10 + X.
