Hi,
First of all thanks for cool script. During the recent mapraid in Pakistan, it's been super-useful for me while wandering the endless deserts, mountains and valleys.
It's really helping to have available "personal layer". Now I've been wondering... Is there any possibility (or a plan) enable roaming of drawings? (The reason I've been asking is that I work regularly with multiple computers and it's simply a pity to always lose the drawings.)
Regards

Yes, I noticed that one but while regularly roaming between two (or more) machines, more seamless expereince. (e.g. googledrive sync) would be nice. Thanks for the script in any case.
I'm afraid BeenThere can be added to the list of scripts broken by today's WME update.
I'm getting the below error in the console and the control panel never appears.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it looks like the latest WME update has broken BeenThere again, probably due to changes in the Layers menu.
The control panel shows the count for my current batch of images, but they're not actually showing on the map.
[EDIT]Just to confirm the problem, I've been able to get the script running by commenting out line 467:

I just spoke to Justin. The layers menu functionality resided in WazeWrap, which he has updated. This script is now working again.

WME BeenThere depends on the WazeWrap library (a userscript used by some userscripts), which is currently experiencing a problem.

WazeWrap is fixed - and hence this script should be working again.
But don't thank me. I didn't fix it; I'm just spreading the good news.

Hi there. I'm having a small issue with BeenThere - which may be because I'm abusing the script beyond what it's meant for!
I'm currently working on scans of some counties/states in the UK. The means I'm scanning a very large area screen-by-screen at zoom=4 and using BeenThere to keep track of where I've been. As I'm going, I occasionally export my shapes from BeenThere so avoid the possibility of data loss. I've had problems with this in the past, although I will say the script has been very reliable recently about not losing data.
The last county I scanned ended up with over 4000 zoom=4 screen boxes in WME. Whilst I'm seeing no impact whatsoever on WME from having so many shapes, I am seeing a significant impact when trying to export the data from the script. By the end of that scan, it took 5-10 minutes for the settings box to load, with Chrome constantly asking me to kill the page or wait for the script. When I exported to file, the size was approximately 1MB.
I would appreciate it if you could take a glance at the part of the code and see if there's any improvement that could be made? I can supply sample exports if you want to look at them. I'm also quite willing to accept that I'm abusing the script and there's not much you can do about it.

I believe it merges them based off the couple times I have used the script.ldriveskier wrote:When importing from an exported list, does this replace the one that is there or merge them? I appears to merge them, but I can't be certain. Thanks!
Thanks,
