[Script] Waze LiveMap Options

Postby MapOMatic » Wed May 02, 2018 3:24 am

Waze LiveMap Options
- Adds more options to modify routes in Waze LiveMap.
- Shows HH:MM:SS for route times rather than HH:MM.
- Allows you to hide traffic lines so you can more easily select start and destination points.

Great, could you add Taxi mode?

Great script,

you can add "@include" to make the script work in other languages?

Live Map web address by default: https://www.waze.com/*/livemap,
ex : https://www.waze.com/fr/livemap

Thank you

Thanks for the tip. This was added in the latest version.

Yep, definitely broken. It'll take me a little while to get this going again. :(

Unfortunately they've changed something with the way that routing requests are sent, and it breaks the main purpose of the script: options to avoid certain types of roads and set the day of the week.

Maybe someone smarter than I can figure out how to intercept the xmlhttp requests on this new version of LiveMap. Until then... basically the only features I *might* be able to fix are:
- Display the route times in HH:MM:SS format
- Disable the traffic layer

I'm probably not going to spend any time fixing them unless we can come up with a way to fix the main purpose of the script -- or unless people say they *really* need them for some reason.

Wish I had better news...

Thank you, Twister-UK! I believe you found the solution (after I had given up searching in StackOverflow too quickly). You receive the honorary title of "Smarter than MapOMatic", and all of the perks that come with it

I'll try to get everything else fixed and cleaned up as soon as possible. They broke just about everything with that update.

Version 2018.07.24.001 should be mostly working. I still need to fix the feature that displays the seconds in the route times.
