I've noticed one thing in the latest console output which would be preventing age filtering from working properly on most but not all of your feed entries, so are you saying it's not working *at all*, or just failing to show/hide certain entries?

Quick coding dash to get .6 released before the Chrimblemass Eve festivities begin, and the alcohol levels in my bloodstream exceed maximum save programming limits... juliansean's log output showed a problem with feed entries which were being listed with a timestamp of 1+ months, which I've now addressed, allowing these entries to be filtered more or less correctly if the age filter is in use (I've assumed 30 days/month due to the lack of any more finely-grained information in the feed for these entries).

Happy end-of-December seasonal celebrations to all, normal coding service should be resumed in a couple of days time :D

The latest bit of feedback from amoyer1974 has highlighted an embarrassing omission in URO's handling of the feed list.

I use the Tab Manager script to collapse all of the tabs onto a single row by replacing their native titles with icons. As such, I haven't seen the default feed tab in a looooooong time, which means I'd completely forgotten that it includes a reload icon, which in turn means URO is also unaware of this fact, and therefore isn't able to detect new items being loaded into the feed list if this "in-tab" reload icon is clicked - it'll do so only if the "load more" button is clicked at the bottom of the feed panel...

Until the next test release - hopefully later today - please use only the "load more" button if you want to refresh the feed panel without breaking feed filtering.

.7 now seems to play nicely with the in-tab feed reload "clickable element that doesn't really look like it ought to be clickable but is thanks to the fantastic modern zero-contrast UI styling redesign efforts of which HQ are so unfathomably proud" thingy...

Getting these code changes out of the way before next year ;)

3.125 provides an official release of the various feed filter fixes tested in the previous 3.214.x releases.

Also...

Camera approval state filtering is now removed due to the removal of unapproved cameras in WME.

Newlines in map comment body text are now rendered correctly in both the URO popup and the native WME sidepanel, and URLs in the body text are also converted to clicky-links.

Happy New Year everyone, no more coding til 2018 for me

Aww crap, I've got a rapidly sinking feeling that I know exactly what the problem is... As you've now backed up your settings by virtue of having posted them here (thanks for this btw, it'll help me confirm the fix when I get onto it later today), try deleting the entire line which starts with the UROverviewCamWatchList tag and see if URO will then accept restoring that edited copy of the settings. If not, then you can also delete that part of the settings by editing local storage via the console.

I suspect that, once your watchlist is genuinely free of cameras, URO will start behaving itself again...

iainhouse wrote:I cleared the line in local storage and refreshed. I immediately got a pop-up welcoming me to version 3.125 - which suggests it was a previous update that caused the problem. Sorry - it's too late to check what version I was stuck on. :(
[EDIT] Tell a lie - it's in the settings above. I was on 3.124 when the problem happened.

URO+ is now working fine: popups, UR marker changes. The URO+ tab is also working normally again.
Given what the reason is for the error, it's definitely 3.125 at fault - 3.124 is listed in your backup here because the error is occurring during parsing of the watchlist settings at startup, which then kills the remainder of the parsing code including the bit which compares the installed version against the last known version, and more critically also the part which sets the state of the master enable checkbox once all the other settings have been retrieved...

Yes, this is 3.125 - I just forgot to update the version number in the script header, which is what GreasyFork uses to determine the version number it displays

3.126 correctly handles legacy camera watchlist entries following removal of unapproved camera support... Available now from GreasyFork, CWS update to follow this evening and also from CWS ;)

glomp wrote:Thanks for the quick update, the camera functionality seems to be working again. Not sure if anyone else has the problem but "Hide cameras on watchlist" doesn't seem to hide the cameras anymore.
Not seeing this problem here. Can you try the same sort of fix as suggested to Iain earlier - back up your current settings so that you don't lose your watchlist, then delete the watchlist entry and apply the settings back to URO. Reload the WME session and check that your watchlist is empty, then try adding one or two cameras to the watchlist and see if the "hide on" option works for those.
