1.30 changes the blue/white Waze logo to a green or yellow circle containing quotation marks on UR markers that have comments. Green means any comments, yellow means some comments from the logged-in user.

Note that this works by overlaying the new quotation image onto the existing UR marker, it doesn't alter the underlying image at all so I doubt it'll have any effect on the WME addons bug noted by gohamstergo...

Gawd, some people are quick off the mark... perhaps a little too quick this time though, the original 1.31 uploads to userscripts.org and crx.chizzum.com were withdrawn and replaced a few minutes later with the proper copies, so you might want to grab another copy now just in case you managed to pick up the withdrawn version.

For URs with comments, the UR popup in 1.31 now shows how long ago the last comment was posted - there doesn't appear to be any way to tell whether comments have been read or not read, so showing the age of the latest comment is as close to fulfilling gohamstergo's suggestion as we can get right now.

More importantly, it also fixes the bug that causes multiple URO tabs to appear if the user selected a non-English UI localisation in WME. This was originally reported a couple of weeks ago, but I couldn't replicate it then in either Firefox or Chrome, and in Firefox on my systems it still isn't obvious - although the bug is present, the script degrades gracefully without any obvious sign of failure. It's only in Chrome, and only in the past few days on my systems, that the multiple-tab effect has shown up. Not sure why other users started getting hammered by it so much sooner than me, but at least it's now sorted out...

Possibly - the comments data is stored in a different set of objects to the UR data (as per Timbones' earlier post that kicked off this recent batch of URO updates), so I'd need to delve into the WME code to see how that data is being requested from the server in order to generate the equivalent request from LMUR within the Livemap environment.

Thanks for the update. When I hover my mouse over the UR and click "Open in new livemap tab" , the new tab gives me an error 404 not found message.

Assuming you're running in WME beta, this is because the livemap link provided by the beta editor itself is broken in pretty much every language/server configuration. It works if the editor URL is https://editor-beta.waze.com/row/, but seems borked whenever the URL changes to include the language.

I'd rather not have to put in a workaround for something that shouldn't be so badly broken in the first place, and since my beta login only now works for the above URL anyway I can't even test URO properly with all other other URL variants... Nice one Waze
