(I'm running Greasemonkey in Firefox 23.01.1 on Windows 8 Professional.)
Is it definitely URO causing the issue? It might not be quite the same issue you're having, but on my systems (two different Win7 PCs running FF and Chrome, with and without any scripts enabled) my editable areas only show up correctly after I force a map redraw by panning/zooming - when WME first loads up the whole map is covered in the dark grey "don't even think of trying to edit here" veil of doom...

1.38 supports the new-style WME URLs, gives the user the choice of whether to use the native WME or URO comment icons on UR markers (some might prefer the native ones, personally I prefer the higher-contrast appearance of the URO ones, not that I'm biased in the slightest  ), and also provides an option to return to the good old white background... All these new options can be found in the newly added Misc settings tab

Just noticed that on the new Livemap site, there's no longer the ability to enter a name as part of a UR submission. However, when the data for that UR is then served back up in WME, the guestUserName field is blank rather than null. 1.39 now accounts for this and continues to show the "submitted via Livemap" popup text for such URs, but now inhibits the "by [insert name here]" bit of the text unless guestUserName contains something (i.e. if the UR is one that'd been submitted via the old Livemap site).

It's error reports like this that make programmers weep with joy - the only thing that could have made it any better was if you'd fixed the code for me :D

The "white background" option requires access to one of the map layer elements in order to change the background colour, and it seems like on your system this layer isn't set up by the time URO acts on the option setting during script startup. I've tweaked the code so that it tests for the layer existence before trying to change the colour, and I'll upload a new version tonight.

Seems like the "Use white background" checkbox won't persist over opening beta editor in a new tab/window. With the public editor it does.
Can't reproduce this here. In which browser is this happening, and on which beta URL? When you open the new tab/window, does URO appear to be working OK apart from the incorrectly set background colour?

1.40 now tests for the existence of the map background layer before attempting to meddle with it...

Might have been a glitch during the rollout of beta 125, 1.40 seems to be working OK here in the beta using either FF or Chrome

Also, being able to filter on ones which I'm the last commenter and older than 7 days would make it easy to keep UR's closed out which aren't getting responses.
This is useful one filter I was also looking for :) (for LMUR as well)
Yes, sorry, with all the script fettling required this month to accommodate the changes in WME and Livemap, I've not been paying much attention to the to-do list... I realise I'm tempting fate here, but now that things seem to have settled down in the world of WME, I'll be able to start concentrating on adding new stuff again.

2.00 adds new UR filtering options as requested by several users - hope they work the way you were expecting them to!

It also introduces a whole new function - the Camera WatchList (CWL), which may be of use to those of us who do our best to maintain cameras despite the best efforts of other Wazers to undo our hard work by deliberately/accidentally hitting the "Not there" button...

When you hover over a camera, you'll now notice the popup includes an "Add to watchlist" option. Clicking on this stores a copy of the critical camera parameters (type, location, direction, speed, and validation state) in the CWL. The next time a WME session is started (e.g. by reloading the page), URO requests the current data for all the cameras in the CWL and compares it against the stored data - an alert message is generated if any changes are noted.

Once a camera is on the CWL, the popup changes again to provide two different options - "Update watchlist entry" and "Remove from watchlist". The first option replaces the previously stored camera parameters with the current ones in the event that the changes are required/acceptable, so that the camera does not generate a data change alert next time around. The second option simply removes the camera from the CWL.

A new CWL sub-tab has been added to the URO tab. This shows a list of all the camera IDs and types in the CWL. As you move your mouse over the list each entry will be highlighted, clicking on the highlighted entry then recentres the map at that camera location. Cameras that have caused a data change alert are highlighted in different colours, and include additional comments.

At the bottom of the list are three buttons - "Rescan", "Remove deleted" and "Remove all". The first allows you to perform an immediate rescan of the camera data without needing to reload WME. The second allows any cameras that have been deleted (and therefore can't show the "Remove from watchlist" option in their popup) to be removed from the CWL. The final button removes all the cameras from the CWL.

2.01 fixes the "update watchlist" problem and adds a "hide watched cameras" filter option as noted/requested by doctorkb. If a watched camera is deleted via its popup, it is automatically removed from the CWL. Clicking on a camera in the CWL now turns on the camera layer if not already visible.
