Two things I'd like to ask for:
  1. An "open in editor" link in the popup (I think you had that before)
  2. A "hide UR for current session" link. I frequently use LMUR to deal with URs over a wide area. If I've done a few, my only option is to refresh the livemap and then pan around to find all the still-existing URs again.
If I had a pound for every time someone thought LMUR used to have the same popup links as URO, I'd not exactly be rich, but I'd have more money than I do right now... It's something I'd like to add at some point though.

Yep, the problem of cached marker data going stale within an editing session is something I'm painfully aware of - it's not just URs you might have fixed yourself that still hang around, it's the ones other editors are fixing at the same time as you... I was thinking about keeping track of how long it'd been since each block of cached data was pulled from the server, and refreshing it automatically every x minutes.

You should be able to get the report dialogue to show if you just untick the "Hide Livemap markers" box, without needing to reload the whole page.

The report dialogue is being rendered onto the same layer as the other native markers, and since ticking that box causes the entire layer to be hidden the dialogue is also hidden... you should find that if you click on a road with the box ticked, and then untick the box, the report dialogue will be waiting for you. I'll see if I can retain visibility of the report dialogue whilst still allowing the map to be decluttered.

2.2 now enables the native "report a problem/permalink/etc" popup when the "Hide Livemap markers" box is ticked.

Cached data now expires after 300s unless it's refreshed by panning the map back over that area. Data in the central 3 degree x 3 degree region of the map is automatically refreshed every 30s. Unrefreshed data is slowly faded out to provide visual reference of its decay. Marker popups also show how old the cached data is.

I know there is a line below "Show Turn Problems", but I don't seem to have any way of accessing it.
It should be scrollable if your browser window isn't tall enough to show the whole thing - what happens if you reduce the height of the window?

ponzu wrote:Does "Show markers outside my editable area" checkbox work? I have it unticked and I am seeing URs outside of my editable area.

Thanks!
Are they URs or map/turn problems? Posting from my phone right now so can't check the script, but IIRC it's only URs that are limited to your editable area unless you tick that option, map/turn problems appear everywhere regardless.

2.3 tweaks the code used to set the height of the LMUR UI when it's opened - this may or may not fix the problem reported by ditchi56...

What did you think about this idea? A different script perhaps? I know you're short of time, but it would be nice to have. (I'd make it myself if I could find the time) :)

Maybe, though having now got LMUR working again my incentive to work on this has diminished somewhat, and there's something else that I've just added onto my to-try-out list that I'm a lot more keen to spend time on...

There's also the small matter of me being waaaaay behind in my editing target for this year - at the start of the year I was planning to be close to the 200k mark required (at the time I set the target...) for L5 by Christmas, but with all the scripting I've been doing instead I've only just hit 150k, leaving me still as far away from L5 (taking the more recent increase to 250k into account) as I was when I reached L4 :( So as much as I enjoy hacking out code and helping everyone else, I really need to learn to be a bit more selfish and devote more time to improving my own stats before TPTB decide to up the level requirements again and put L5 completely out of reach.

2.3 has now been added to the Chrome Web Store...

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... niefljookp

If you've already got 2.3 installed then there's no real reason to replace it with this CWS version. Users of older versions (and 2.3 users who'd prefer to switch to CWS-supplied code sooner rather than later) should uninstall the non-CWS version before installing the CWS version.

Oh for eff's sake, I'm really getting sick and tired of the Waze team's constant desire to mess with stuff that wasn't in obvious need of being messed with, especially when they change the way said stuff works behind the scenes for similarly unobvious reasons, whilst stuff we've been complaining about for months/years remains broken elsewhere... LMUR was working just fine a day or two ago, and I can't see any obvious changes in the look of the Livemap site between then and now, so I wonder what was oh so pressing that they just *had* to roll out this change on a public holiday for pretty much the entire world

Thanks for the heads-up, I'll have a look at the changes required later this week...
