So the question is, when you're logged into WME as yourself (i.e. not in play mode), are those URs/problems also shown in there, or is it *only* LMUR that shows them?

This isn't a hide check box, its a show check box, and this is reflected in the way the option works behind the scenes - when the box is ticked, LMUR uses a play mode login to request UR data without any server-side prefiltering, and so allows you to see everything that the server has to offer. In contrast, when the box is unticked, LMUR uses your login details, and so the data returned by the server is filtered according to what the server believes is correct for your account.

In other words, with the box unticked, what you see in LMUR should be the same as you'd see in WME, and any errors would then down to the server. If LMUR and WME are showing different URs when this box is unticked then it's something I need to know about, otherwise it's a Waze issue that I can't do much about...

Borgholio wrote:Edit - Also, any chance on adding filters to show / hide URs with comments? Thanks again!

Yeah, it's on the list.

LMUR isn't starting up at all for you, which suggests an install problem. I notice in your screengrab Chrome is saying LMUR wasn't installed from the webstore, but that you've got v2.5... does this mean you're running the userscripts version via Tampermonkey? If so, this isn't a method I do any testing on, so if it doesn't work then I won't be in any hurry to fix it.

I suggest removing the version you've got installed at the moment and try a fresh install of 2.5 from the web store.

2.5 fixes the UI styling issues noted by Iain above. Also eliminated a bunch of unnecessary cache reloads, which significantly improves responsiveness of the UI when changing LMUR settings, and re-enabled viewing of livemap routes when the "Hide Livemap markers" option is ticked.

2.4 now works with the current iteration of the Livemap code...

Oh for eff's sake, I'm really getting sick and tired of the Waze team's constant desire to mess with stuff that wasn't in obvious need of being messed with, especially when they change the way said stuff works behind the scenes for similarly unobvious reasons, whilst stuff we've been complaining about for months/years remains broken elsewhere... LMUR was working just fine a day or two ago, and I can't see any obvious changes in the look of the Livemap site between then and now, so I wonder what was oh so pressing that they just *had* to roll out this change on a public holiday for pretty much the entire world

Thanks for the heads-up, I'll have a look at the changes required later this week...

2.3 has now been added to the Chrome Web Store...

If you've already got 2.3 installed then there's no real reason to replace it with this CWS version. Users of older versions (and 2.3 users who'd prefer to switch to CWS-supplied code sooner rather than later) should uninstall the non-CWS version before installing the CWS version.

What did you think about this idea? A different script perhaps? I know you're short of time, but it would be nice to have. (I'd make it myself if I could find the time) :)

Maybe, though having now got LMUR working again my incentive to work on this has diminished somewhat, and there's something else that I've just added onto my to-try-out list that I'm a lot more keen to spend time on...

There's also the small matter of me being waaaaay behind in my editing target for this year - at the start of the year I was planning to be close to the 200k mark required (at the time I set the target...) for L5 by Christmas, but with all the scripting I've been doing instead I've only just hit 150k, leaving me still as far away from L5 (taking the more recent increase to 250k into account) as I was when I reached L4 :( So as much as I enjoy hacking out code and helping everyone else, I really need to learn to be a bit more selfish and devote more time to improving my own stats before TPTB decide to up the level requirements again and put L5 completely out of reach.

2.3 tweaks the code used to set the height of the LMUR UI when it's opened - this may or may not fix the problem reported by ditchi56...

Are they URs or map/turn problems? Posting from my phone right now so can't check the script, but IIRC it's only URs that are limited to your editable area unless you tick that option, map/turn problems appear everywhere regardless.
