Odd it didn't publish, was still sitting in drafts for some reason.

I used to rely heavily on JNF before, not least the "q" shortcut to magically fixz 99% of junctions. I can't get it to work now and the comments in the thread indicate that it stopped working a while back. Is that still the case?

JNF is built into toolbox, so the Standalone version is not really needed. But at the moment toolbox is broken.

Ah, thanks.

I could not find anything about it in Toolbox, is it removed/hidden while it is not working or is it there but not working; if it's there, what should I be looking for?

Toolbox update was just released, so you can probably disable stand alone JNF and re-enable Toolbox and all the JNF functions built-into Toolbox should be working again.

I'm not sure I find anything in Toolbox correlating to the "Q" funcitonality from JNF. What should I be looking for?

I have only noticed the Toolbox adding the extra node to prevent loops when you select that button to perform that task. I seem to recall the Q function (or maybe I am confusing the W doing that) used to do that under Toolbox, but maybe I was mistaken that JNF was still doing it on its own at that time.

Q with JNF / Toolbox was Q and W combined from native WME, IIRC.

I guess if I look...

Hooks into replaces 'q' (Disable All Turns) and does these actions on the selected node:
  • Enables U-Turn and locks all turns at dead-end nodes. Changed Behavior
  • Fixes any self and reverse connectivity issues
  • Converts single node roundabouts (lollipops) and loops into a three segment loop. Any existing house numbers will be associated with the middle segment and MUST BE EDITED after save to update their stop point.
  • If two or more segments are connected to the same two segments, it will split one of them. Same rules as SameNode.js bookmarklet.
  • Terminates dead-ends
  • Makes dead-ends two-way (only if both ends of the segment are visible)
  • Sets the Type of a roundabouts using lowest of two highest rule and sets country/state if needed
  • For UK sets Type of roundabouts using highest type excluding Freeway rule.
  • Removes revcon (turns into wrong-direction of one-way), and selfcon (U-Turns at non-dead ends). Once the app has real support for U-Turns selfconf will be left alone
  • Locks all turns at selected node.
