New (new) version available from this page (same version number):

- separate option to highlight locked places
- will now highlight recently edited or created places
- better detection of users to put into the 'Edited by' list
- some minor tweaks to the layout of highlight options

To clarify, this version doesn't highlight recently edited point places, so I'll work on adding that. It doesn't do anything with place updates, that's a job for another script (i.e. URO+).

If you select the option to highlight recently edited segments, it will also highlight area places too.

PS: It looks like I failed to upload the correct version last night, which is why you're not seeing anything different. Stay tuned!

Okay, here is Beta v1.93.

I've rewritten much of the place highlighting feature, and it will now show recent edits and also highlight point places.

Use the segment options to highlight places in a specific city, edited by a specific user, or edited within a number of days (in that order of precedence). There's a separate option for locked places.

You mean that you want to keep the colours of landmarks which aren't yellow or green? I had deliberately changed them back to pink so that they would stand out, but I could change that.

There was a change made in this version as to who gets to see Advanced Options. They used to be enabled for all rank 3 and above, but now it enables them for Area Managers.

They could be separated, but that requires work ;)

SuperDave1426 wrote:Is there any chance that could be separated? Updated/edited places is something I'd be likely to want to see very regularly as part of my normal scanning around. I don't necessarily want all the streets lit up all the time; I suspect other editors may well feel the same way.

How about if I keep the options as they are, but have 2 separate options to highlight Segments and/or Places? Then you could see just one or t'other, or both at the same time, without cluttering up the interface with lots more buttons. Some of the other segment options, like no name or no city, could then apply to places too.

WMECH is looking for a function called WME_JNF_FixNode - if it can't find it, then it prints that message about JNF not being active. What is it called in Toolbox?

Yes, someone else reported this. Turns out there's a typo in my code, and it's only looking at creation dates.

It'll be fixed "shortly". ;)
