Yes, thanks!

I just found it has been reported already. Given the different scripts I've installed I usually track them down first.

Mainly Landmarks are quite hard to find and they have an impact even in the lowest zoom level. If I have some landmarks with wrong country (often shown as "no address") the chat goes into that country even if miles away from the border.

Edit: If you need an area to see/test what I mean here you go: Zoom=0 east of Zürich (Switzerland). You see lots of forest landmarks and some of them seem to be allocated to Germany. That's why you'll find yourself in the chat for Germany instead of Switzerland. Landmarks are selectable even in Zoom=0.

Here is a permalink with such a landmark selected: Landmark with Country Germany

Re: [Script] Colour Highlights for Segments - v1.6.7 Jul 201

Postby Szata76 » Fri Jul 19, 2013 1:54 pm

Hi!

Congratulation for making this useful extension. I'm using it often.

What is the difference in these versions for Chrome?
- http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/141050 / Ver. 1.6.7
- http://waze.cryosphere.co.uk/scripts/wm ... ights.html / Ver. 1.67

Why are two different? The "Average speed for segment" works only the second one.

Thanks!

Hi!

Please add TBR highlight functions to normal editor. TBR and UR comment comes to final.

Thanks!

Same here, 1.6.2 stopped working after Chrome updated to 27 yesterday, 1.6.4 CRX file works fine.

Dear Tim (and others),

The link in your (Tims) post from 10:50 today seems to link to the wrong place :-(

Link: Jumps to a thread not on the world forum with a strange (wrong post) on the first page.

Instead: Click the forum built-in link to the first page of posts for this thread - which takes you to the right place :-)

[Script] WME Color Highlights - 1.81 Mar 2014

Postby Timbones » Tue Feb 19, 2013 10:04 pm

Here's my script which adds color highlighting to segments and landmarks according to their status and type. The highlighting of segments is likely to be most useful, for it shows locked and un-named roads (with many other features since the first version). Click on the link below to see full changelog.

 Firefox: Install WME Color Highlights* script at userscripts.org
 Chrome: Install WME Color Highlights extension from the Chrome Web Store.

*Firefox users will need to install the Greasemonkey addon first.

What does this represent?

This is an undocumented feature (easter egg) for UK editors to indicate that the road names have incorrect or missing abbreviations. As Iain correctly pointed out, the dot was missing from "St".

I considered if and how I would support this worldwide, but decided it would be a nightmare to maintain.
If anyone wants to make this work for their own country, feel free to edit the code ;)

The "Locked" option now displays 2 colors: red = locked but editable by you; black = locked at a higher level.

The "Toll" option shows blue dashes for unlocked toll segments, and red dashes for locked toll segments even if "Locked" option is off.

Hope that makes sense.
