That means that Waze has very little control over what they do and only do something on particularly bad cases.
However, the function request for highlighting things (not only places) last edited my an IGN does seem like a good idea.

Use the segment options to highlight places in a specific city, edited by a specific user, or edited within a number of days (in that order of precedence). There's a separate option for locked places.

You mean that you want to keep the colours of landmarks which aren't yellow or green? I had deliberately changed them back to pink so that they would stand out, but I could change that.
