This script has been available from the Chrome Store for quite a while now. Are you still using a really old version?
It looks like after I removed it because it stopped working, I went to this thread to find the link to it and downloaded the 'latest version' I could find a link for in this thread.
Of course that one didn't work.

I should have looked here: https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/index.php/Co ... Angle_info

Thanks for the heads up.
Perhaps it would be a good idea to give the version that works a different rev number.
They are both 1.5.9 :)

So lets say the numbers will turn Purple anytime a prompt would be "Turn Right/Left" or the number would turn Green for "Exit to Right/Left" for Freeway to Ramp & Blue for "Stay/keep to Right/Left" for Freeway to Freeway
You should be able to figure that out using livemap. Yes, you have to wait for it to go live, but the turn-by-turn in livemap is accurate to what the app will do.
Yeah, but the entire point is to be able to figure it out while you're editing it. It's already doable in your head with this script and a little knowledge (of road type interactions); this would just make it a little more transparent.
YES!!! it would certainly :) be a bit more transparent than

FYI, if anyone is interested, I wrote an AutoHotKey scripted program that is essentially a questionair following the flow chart.
I include in this zip file the 'source code' and a compiled version so that you can view/modify/fix any mistakes I made. You can also just run the compiled version without needing to have AutoHotKey installed on your computer.

I release my code into the public domain.
Use as you like.
If you manage to sell copies, cut me in on the take. :)

It, essentially asks you the questions, as shown on the flow chart in https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/index.php/Ho ... _maneuvers, and tells you the final result.
EDIT: fixed wrong link to the wiki.

Further EDIT: I see what looks like an excellent page at

Wonder how hard it would be to write a script to do that. :)
Record the process with AutoHotKey and play it back each time.

I've heard Waze tell me to turn left when the map clearly (and correctly) showed a right turn.
This is the first time I have SEEN a (purple route) left turn shown as 'keep right' with a right arrow.
Something looks very wrong there!

After trying the latest development version, I found wild rapid 'scrolling' when attempting to click and drag to move the view. :(
So, turned it off and turned regular JAI on, F5 to load, and all works normally now so, there may be a conflict of some kind.

Weird problem with JAI [1.13] in the India Map Raid.
Several editors seemed to be having problems with it but it was working ok in USA for them.

I did a 'binary search' and narrowed down the interfering extension to "WME closest segment" [1.0.2](which hasn't been working for me recently anyway). If I turn that extension off, JAI angles appear. With it on, they are gone. (all my other extension left on in both cases).

NOTE: if you zoom, the angles appear!

I wasn't. That seems to fix the problem with JAI AND to show the closest segment!

Thank YOU for all the WAZE you help!

That's a great idea!

Seb, is that possible?
Won't snapshot mode let you view the situation before your changes?
