Re: [Script] WME Validator 0.4.8 (BETA) / 19.01.2014

Postby berestovskyy » Sun Jan 19, 2014 10:57 am

19.01.2014 v0.4.8:
- new advanced setting: 'WME: Two-Way segments by default'
- new check: 'More than one outgoing segment connected to roundabout node A'
- now it's a warning: 'More than one segment connected to roundabout node A'
- more French translations thanks to arbaot
- enabled "City name on named Ramp" for France, GF, NC and RE
- no highlighting for 'Might be incorrect city name' check due to false positives, but you can still use this check by scanning a map area
- fixed new segment roundabout error
- a bit adjusted twinkling/opacity, but major update for highlighting is coming in one of the upcoming releases

Wow, it's actually a shame that this has to be implemented as a script extension into WME, but I LOVE this feature! It has been annoying since the start that new segments default as oneways.

EDIT: But, roundabouts are now also created as twoways by default, which should of course not be the case!

WME beta had the 2-way change built-in and the roundabout issue has also been noted in the beta feedback.

Sorry, I haven't noticed the feature is in WME beta until it was released here yesterday. Have not much time for reading other topics recently :(

I read that, and thought, "Hmm, ok, let's see what he did." So I went to Chrome settings and forced a extension update. Went back to the map editor tab, refreshed the screen....

First words out of my mouth: "Good GOD!" Well, you certainly can't miss those markings.

I like it. :D BIG improvement over the strobe/twinkle. Thanks for that!
