Hi

WME validator 0.6.1 makes some script unusable on Firefox 27:
- WME Color Highlight 1.8
- WME House Number Helper 0.4.5
- WME route checker 1.0
- WME Hide Landmarks 1.0

Could you find a way to fix this? I'd like to use your script and these others ;)

berestovskyy wrote:Sure, no problem.

I guess those first 3 scripts have the common issue: they all have fixed WME startup time encoded (setTimeout), which is not always enough as you can see.

Yours Hide Landmarks have another issue, please check the PM.
Thanks a lot. Now fixed for WME hidelandmarks ;)

2. Separating translations from the main script. The main script will be slimmer and faster, while you will be able maintain translations on your own. I suggest to extract the following features:
a) UI translations (optional, see 1)
b) translation of check titles, problem descriptions, howtos and links localization
c) enabling/disabling checks for the country
d) managing exceptions and check parameters

Let me know what you guys think before I start to implement the functionality.
I would also like to hear if the script startup time in v0.6.2 is still an issue for you.

Thanks!

You mean external script-data for validator that will regroup : rules, translation, etc; and one script for each country?
Agreed with that!

Hi all

Some kind of need to update a feature : same endpoints highlighting.
There are some particular case; such as roundabouts with 2 connected streets. Here is an other one : a loop with 2 one way roads, eg :[ img ]
In this case, there is no way that Waze failed the routing ;)

I was thinking on something, Validator is still in BETA, but beta is designed to track bugs.
AFAIK, there is no bug in Validator.
Maybe some adjustments are required for every country but its not a bug.
And the personnal check should be something as optionnal and for advanced editors, no?

Will someone else recreate WME Validator?

Thanks

It is likely that he is tired of such WME update.

This sucks :( I am tired of the WME updates too. Every time they change something it screws everything up.

My toolbox is not working either. Several scripts are broken!
