Just be sure you're not talking of the WME display bug, which makes elevation data sometimes not being displayed after editing a segment. A reload then usually brings back the elevation.

Is this a good place to share WME validator custom scripts and Regex Expressions?

I have been fighting an area of basemap recently and discovered that many of the segments have a blank elevation. I don't see this covered in any tools, and the regex required was a bit surprising.

Good point. Thank you.

I've sent a few permalinks that way and they arrived with both of them disabled. Took me a couple of tires to figure out what's wrong.

If you have the experimental road layer enabled and the legacy roads disabled, no roads will be displayed because the experimental layer does not yet get enabled through a permalink. Might be best to enable the roads layer before running a scan so you don't have to enable them with every permalink to follow

Quick question; since the new WME, if I click on a link from the report of WME Validator, it has the roads disabled. Layers are set to 1937 (&layers=1937) is this something in Validator or not?
Thanks for the GREAT script :D

Problem solved, thanks to all for the various suggestions.

Problem was firmly of the PEBKAC variety.

I didn't notice that the options to exclude Streets, Service Roads, Other Drivable and non-drivable were turned on, for those curious. You may begin the regaling of me with "duh" comments now.
