You told me to ask so... here I am! :)

We have some problems here in Brazil with City names spelled in two different ways.
e.g: "Santa Bárbara d'Oeste" and "Santa Barbara D'Oeste"

Some times the same street have two different cities. It sucks :/

Your script can do something to help us so we can erradicate the misspeled version?

Tks in advance

As our colleague just said, It would be great to have this script to Brazil too. Besides, it is particularly useful for languages using accents, which is source for discrepancies (e.g. "Ribeirão Preto" and "Ribeirao Preto").
Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Your script is bugged. Don't know why exactly, but since I'm catching javascript errors in Toolbox, Toolbox reports errors due to Highlighter City when they're used together.

You have to replace all
Code: Select all
Waze.model.landmarks
by
Code: Select all
Waze.model.venues
in your script because Waze.model.landmarks is not used anymore and returns an invalid object.

I'm currently having problems clicking on the Highlighter City tab. When I click on it, the properties for it does not appear for both public and beta wme.

Edit:

This problem only will appear after you click permalink a segment and click else where. After that clicking on the tab does not show the Highlighter City properties. Hope you get it.

Just wondering... Do you even have access to the brazilian Waze cities list?

No, I don't.
I've made one based on IBGE data.

Edit:
I would be pleased if I can compare both lists.

PS: My list did not include our districts.
