If the script didn't work because the street is too long, split the street, run the script on one part, move the end point of the other segment a little bit into the Landmark and run the script with the other Segment again. The Landmark will be extended (and hopefilly saveable). ;)
best regards Alex ;)

Hello,

In old time , Street to River show me the way to create some script for Waze.
Perhaps, it's time to me to help ;)

In the new version of WME, create landmark have change (perhaps due to place)

I have found a workaround for the add landmark problem.
In the old manner, we do this
//var landmark = new Waze.Feature.Vector.Landmark(polygon,{categories:typeLandmak, name: nameLandmak});

In new WME, this manner work for me
Code: Select all
var landmark = new WazeFeatureVectorLandmark() ;
landmark.geometry = polygon;
landmark.attributes.name = nameLandmak;
landmark.attributes.categories = typeLandmak;

I pretty sure it will work for StreetToRiver

To be clear:
- I learnt to draw landmark with the first version of Street to river
- I learnt to use the require function with Street to River Plus :oops:
It's just a little feedback.

[Script] Street to River Plus

Postby EduardoCarvajal » Sat Apr 05, 2014 5:51 pm

This is a modified version of Street to River Script that I call Street to River PLUS.

Mini howto:
    1.install this script from greasyfork.org as Greasemonkey script, Chrome extension or Tampermonkey script.

To add a new river:
  1. Draw a new street but do not save the Street.
  2. Optionally add and apply a street name to define the rivers name and the width of the river.
    Example: "20m Spree" creates a 20 meters width river named "Spree".
  3. Select the helper Street.
  4. Click the "Street to river" button.
  5. Delete the helper Street.
  6. Edit the new landmark as you like.

To expand an existing river:
  1. Draw a new Street that starts inside an existing river, but do not save the Street.
  2. Make sure that you see on map the begining of the street (the instersection point of the street and the river)
  3. Select the helper Street.
  4. Click the "Street to river" button.
  5. Delete the helper Street.
  6. Edit the new landmark as you like.

use port 8080 instead standart 80 (by default for all browsers standart port is 80).
http://userscripts.org:8080/ its working.

P.S. Sorry for my english. :oops:

Hi sapulmart:

http://userscripts.org:8080 is read-only (You can't update a script), this is the reason I was forced to change script’s hosting site (greasyfork.org),

Sincerely,
Eduardo.

don't working in Russian :( But working in English. thx! it the most powerful tool to draw the correct contours of buildings.

Hi sapulmart:

I change language to Russian (https://www.waze.com/ru/editor/) and everything works fine for me. Do you refresh your browser?. The latest version of the script only works with the latest version of Waze Map Editor (the one that use Places and Place (point) instead of Landmarks)

Sincerely,
Eduardo.

PS. Please double check that you are running the latest version of the script: greasyfork.org

Hi sapulmart:

Which version of street to river is displayed on screen when you select Helper Street? Do you select river size using Combo box or thru helper Street Name?

PS. I will try to reproduce your error. Thanks for your very useful information
