It feels kind of, I'm spamming this thread, but could you also have a look at this post
Still wondering what's going on there. Can it be related to the B-A, A-B, B-A order of the segment directions?
Edit: Experiencing the same here. Also the 2 segments have alternate direction A-B and B-A.

Last question for now Could you make the "Save now, before further editing" popup background Yellow, instead of the regular Blue messages? Than it will stand out a bit more, but not as harsh as the Red Errors

^^^ it's not that kind of splitting. Maybe cutting (into 2) is a better description for it.
It adds a node in the middle.

When I select an segment, the 'Cut segment' do 'add node' in "random position". This position is chosen by the script.
