In Republic of Cyprus (greek, or "South") most do speak English. Out of 800k inhabitants, 20% are foreigners. Yearly tourist arrivals are in excess of 3m.
The road signs and street name plates have both Greek and Latin names/letters.
As discussed in forum
, there is a file from Cyprus Post with "Greeklish"
street names: [Updated] 2017.09.30_Post Code Directory.xlsx (English)
It's something in between greek names and a Waze latin interface, the best of both worlds: a local would effortlessly write in latin, a foreigner or tourist would easily read and type the names.
Hope it helps.
