I'm thinking of forming a standard for naming numbered highways so that a shield system can be easy to implement in the future.

There are three main shields for the Saudi Road Network numbers:
1- for numbers with one or two figures.
2- for numbers with 3 figures.
4- for numbers with 4 figures.

I'm curious on knowing the process for implementing the shields in Waze and learning best practices from other countries which have their shields implemented.

Any thoughts how to make this possible?

Rocco, for me the maximum block is 3, except for the most important roads that cross the entire country, if it seems good your proposal not currently block to higher levels and q is not necessary.
