There are some many useless alerts I'm forced to mute everything.

Vehicle blocking shoulder? I'm not even sure what that means?

WAZE should get rid of the shoulder report altogether. If it's not in lanes who cares?

And the right lane is for trucks and retired people anywaze...

Yep, 60 Fwy eastbound (Los Angeles) 4:30 AM today. For 20 of my 31 miles some yoyo ahead of me was reporting heavy traffic along the route. I was 70mph + all the way in.

You'd think if someone is reporting heavy traffic but they were doing the speed limit that report would fail.

Even more useless than the car on shoulder alert...it's raining alert. Duh, I can tell it's raining given that it is hitting my windshield

Please allow us to turn off individual alerts! I don't care about cars on the shoulder! I literally scream at my phone whenever that useless but frequent alert comes up! And yes, I've considered pressing "Not there" as well. It really pisses me off.

I agree with this. And while your making it so we can turn these off, look at this related request as well (to turn on "Verbal Notification of Rerouting as an Alert")....

sad
I have no use for pothole audio alerts.. I ONLY want turn by turn info unless I ASK for pothole alerts.

That is why I have Hazards turned OFF in the Show on Map

I ONLY want alerts for things I have chosen to Show on Map

Turn off Pothole Alerts

Postby jon_slider » Wed Apr 13, 2016 5:18 pm

I have Road Hazards disabled in Show on Map. So I do not want potholes to give audio warnings.

I have Police enabled to Show on Map, so Im OK with audio for that.

Basically, if I dont choose to Show on Map, I dont want to hear about it.
