Getting waze pre-installed in a phone can be a start. The problem is that people would not start using unless they see value, and people cannot see value unless a lot of users using it

Well I am one of Area Managers for Mumbai and Pune.
Just a note we are not employees of Waze just a simple wazers like everyone else.

I think, we need to finalize on Road categories for India...
Like what to call free way, what to cal major highway, minor highway and Primary streets...
US or other country definition this types will not work for Indian road...

I guess current road categories are as per populated Base map... currently we are fixing any map issues found... rather than changing types... may be.. as waze users will increase... some one from development team could help is decide road types for India...
