Just to clarify - because I advised that this issue be reported when we were chatting - the problem is an incorrect error message.dickdanrad wrote:I'm unable to edi the map despite it being in my driving area.
"You cannot edit this segment. You may only edit segments in your driving area. " is wrong - I drive it daily - any idea why?
Minor B roads around my home can edit. More major routes (A roads) I can't
Any ideas what's going on here? The segment was initially created from scratch while I waited for an unlock to connect it. PLRs were then connected, breaking it into smaller segments. After the unlock everything was connected, the road type changed to mH and an alternate set to TN-126. One last run of Validator reported an overlapping segment. That’s where the problems arose. The original segment in the PL somehow remained after the PLRs were connected. You’ll notice it still has a road type of Street and does not have an alternate name. The segment only seems to appear at certain zoom levels and even then seems to come-and-go. When attempting to make any changes to it an error is displayed indicating that the element has been modified or deleted.
agreeThis is a big performance decrease, it more prone to cause errors, and should be reverted or should ONLY work near roundabouts
It's a future feature that was released in beta a few months ago and then pulled back due to issues. It's available as a layer to see those junctions that got added during the beta but nothing new can be added at this time.iamrioo wrote:I've just notice a new "Junctions" layer, anyone know what is it use for?
I couldn't find "yet" anywhere regarding this
