Did you double check on multiple roundabouts? After connecting toolbox suggest to "suppress unneeded geometry". Deleting that geonode will disconnect the segments and for example walking trail will not function the way it should. I'm not sure about the "unconfirmed turns" either.
The issue was also raised in beta forums and is waiting for staff answer to the necessarity of the extra geonode.
