Well, it was kind of inferred that this could be some sort of substitute for the lack of the navigation list on the client. That might trigger some expectations that the instructions would be similiar.

Doh! My bad. I forgot to unhide the instructions panel the next time a route was plotted.

Fixed in v0.4 of [the script] - thanks for spotting it.

Tim, does the routing data include segment average speeds?

It has the times for each segment, plus a length. So yes. Any ideas what you would like to see done with it?

Presumably the times differ for different times of the day??

Well done. Isn't it time for a Script Thread with a summary of all useful Scripts and addons that are running around the waze forum. Perhaps in The Map Section or the board index?

Ideally, I would like it displayed in the table - the idea is to give an indication of whether the speed for a segment is causing bad routing when you force a particular route - m/s would probably be fine.

New Version: v0.5 - http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/118389

  • highlight the names of streets in blue (thanks to Roberto)
  • new feature to calculate the reverse route
  • link to script homepage, and version number
  • link in popup to edit segment in editor
Enjoy! :)

Nice work Tim, like the link to the editor too!

Now for the really lazy, can I have a "Report problem" link there too?? :)
