How to apply for area manager areas

Postby davidg666 » Tue Jul 28, 2015 9:48 am

Waze self management for Ireland has started.

The first thing that this means is that applications for area manager (or modifications to existing area manager areas) are now handled locally.

To apply to become an area manager, or to request new areas to be managed by you, please fill in this form:

This spreadsheet might help some Editors to select their area(s)..

I'd forgotten about that spreadsheet! It's probably quite out of date by now, however the list of towns in it is certainly still valid.

If anybody is looking for a town that needs editing, add your name to the spreadsheet and update the details (such as satellite image quality).

When I created that spreadsheet, the editor satellite images were coming from Bing, and they're now coming from Google, so some areas that had bad images now have good ones, but some areas that had good images now have bad ones.

In other words: please update this spreadsheet as often as necessary! Until it's updated, its main use is as a list of all towns/villages over a certain size, many of which need a lot of work still.
