Wait, are you telling me that only person to answer my query about whether to publish the page or not didn't actually see the page?

Well the original impetus was that junction boxes that are created in the beta editor show in the production editor and cause the segments within them to be locked. Thus, if level 5 beta editors created a bunch of junction boxes, there would need to be an explanation for editors that came across them. However, once we learned that they do not effect routing, it became clear that the beta editors weren't going to create a bunch of them. Thus, there is not that much of a need for the average editor to read about them. Yet.

Yes, and only from the beta editor.

So now that junction boxes effect routing should we go ahead and publish the page?

I have made the changes suggested here. I have also added a section on eliminating entry/exit pair connections.

My understanding is that JBs currently effect routing in North America and Israel (Beta thread link).

I say hold off. If it's not in production, and hasn't been fully tested by editors, then hold off. At least have the wiki saved on standby until it hits production. Then, the moment it does, we can say, before anyone asks, "Please look at this to understand what JBs are and how to use them".

So, we are guessing about JBs and haven't had any clear cut instructions from Waze? Can the champs get a hold of them and ask them to provide an answer as to how JBs are to be used, its limitations, and what other effects it has on other segmetns?
