Would it be possible for the map to not zoom out so far that I can't even see the car moving or the turns coming up but rather have it zoom out just enough like Google Maps Navigation so that I can still see the road? I know it's not a bug but just a feature suggestion.

Hi,

HTC Desire - Cyanogen ROM - French

In Settings / Parameters / Advanced...

The second choice "Apprendre automatiquement les trajetsvers les ...". The text is too large and do not fit in the area.
We can't read the end of the line (text is splitted on 4 lines).

It's not fine in portrait mode for me - Maybe because I'm in french version !

Hi,

Yesterday, after driveing using Waze, when I wanted to close the apps, Waze remained on the screen and the phone was frozen. It took me few minutes to get the phone power off / power on without removing the battery.

I used to have the same with previous beta.

Hi,

This morning, driving on an dayly road, the same fixed camera I see each morning was not reported by Waze. The camera is on the screen, but no voice report.

I used to get the same with previous beta. Missing reports are mandatory.

Hi,
Like in the previous beta, when a report can't be sent, no possibility to send it again.
The sending popup is running for a very long time on the screen then a new popup windows tell us that we have to try later.
All the windows close and... Nothing was sent, and no possibility to send again.
Yesterday, all my reports were not sent - It was for a danger and an accident !

You see, the company that operates the speedcams here banks on the difference between the actual speed (on the GPS) and the speed shown on the odometer (which is, by design in most cars here, always at least 10KM/h higher than the actual speed).
Very strange... I would prefer to be warned all the time !

mssusa wrote:Exactly! Old -release- versions used to buffer the reports if they couldn't be sent. It is usually for a very short period and re-sending is only attempted once even if it fails again, but at least it is better than not trying again at all.
I would prefer to have a little button to re-send the alert.
In case of accident, It is usefull to send an alert to everybody, even in late.
Everyone receiving the alert can then prefer to take another road to go to their destination.
And more generally, an alert is still usefull for everyone, even with a bit of late (like 5 minutes for example).

khaytsus wrote:I've never seen a report that failed to send actually send, not once, ever, in two years of using Waze, using every version they've released or betas. Once a report send fails, it will never send again. I've reported this numerous times and I've given up on it.

ie: Don't think this behavior is new, but sure wish they'd fix it!
I hope they will do because it is very anoying !

Hi,

Some issues for connecting to server after a phone call... Waze takes very long time to get data from server.
I use to quit Waze then launch again.
