Halifax Shopping Centre's Road

I asked the Civic Addressing dept what the name should be.
This is the driveway through the Halifax Shopping Centre and is privately owned by OPB Realty Inc.. The name is not East Perimeter Rd, nor does it have a name. We believe the Shopping Centre has posted a sign saying Halifax Shopping Centre Blvd, however that is not an officially accepted street name under our by-law. We may consider naming this at some time, however there is no plan to do that now. The reference in Google to Coleman Street is incorrect.
It gets a fair bit of though traffic. So should it be a street or a parking lot road?

Good question! My gut feeling says road, even if it probably really is a parking lot road. It just seems more substantial than a PLR. It kind of reminds me of Downsview Dr in Lower Sackville. I think that one really is a road, a leftover from the distant past when that shopping centre was a harness racing track. If not, well, people use it as a thoroughfare anyway.
