Changes / additions not showing up on map

Hello,

I have recently added a few business locations in my area to make that section of the map more complete. I don't remember were I saw this, but I heard that I should wait for a day or two before the map is updated with the information I inputted. It's now been over a week and none of the additions I created are showing up on the map. I have checked that the correct layers are selected.

Can anyone explain to me, or give me an idea as to why? Am I too new at this?

Hello and welcome to the forum and to the editor!

For all new editors, their place updates will need to be approved by a level 2 or higher editor. May I have your city, state, and/or country that you are editing in?

Sorry I wasn't as quick on this one!

Most often they are in a queue, you can see the "Place Updates" player in the WME.

Alors, je ne sais pas des gens en Quebec, mais, je pense que tu peut voir ici pour des gens Quebecois.

I just took a look and couldn't find any places pending approval in Trois-Rivières. I see a few additions when I check your profile, but it seems as the places you've added are no longer on the map. Kinda weird.

If you want to try again and add new places, feel free to PM me so I can check up on them / approve them.

Place updates can be searched fairly quickly but you won't see them on the map without a tile update. This usually happens every couple days but there are often delays. Check out the Status link at the bottom of WME or go to status.waze.com.

Something else I would like to ask in regards to this same question: if the updates I made have not shown up, does that mean that they have been rejected, or could it just be that they're in a queue waiting to be approved?
