Try the Date Format Fix script along with Fix Scripts. Make these two scripts run 1 & 2 in Tampermonkey. These fixed Validator for me, along with several other scripts.

Afaik there is no installation for fix scripts. you just create a new script, paste the code in, then move the script to the number one position

The latest WME changed the date format which caused some issues with scripts. I don't know the specifics, I am certainly no expert in this area, but Glodenox describes it here.

That's the key right there, I think. If the author specifically gives up their rights, then it's fair game for anyone to work on it. But when the author says nothing or simply disappears, then they haven't really given up their rights, and that's where we are with Validator.

Taking a look at it from another angle, though, is that we would be stuck with whatever Waze decides is useful or not useful. No more requests to add this or that function, and if it breaks, we wait on Waze to fix it. Right now, scripts can be fixed or modified very quickly in many cases by the excellent volunteers we have. That would end for anything Waze takes over. Obviously, volunteer script writers who disappear are a problem, but maybe a better solution would be to modify the license terms to make it easier in cases like this for someone else to step in.

Just my 2 cents.

Con la actualización del WME son varios los scripts que han dejado de funcionar. Entre ellos el Validator.

Yup, I can confirm this behavior as well. I've got Fix Map Objects installed, so at least it does its thing while I'm editing. But doing a scan to get a report goes nowhere.

The same action is repeated when scanning the map.

The goal is to highlight all the Primary roads that don't have a name, and they are longer then 50 ft.

First issue: it highlight some ramps
2nd issue: Depending on the test, it will highlight all roads bigger than 50ft!

Here is what I tried:
Code: Select all

   "131.enabled": true,
  "131.params": {
  "template": "${typeRank}#${street}@:${length}",
  "regexp": "/^1[1-5]#@:([5-9]+[0-9])$|([1-9]+[0-9]+[0-9])$/",
  "titleEN": "No Street Name on Primary Street",
  "problemEN": "No Street Name on Primary Street",
  "solutionEN": "Add the name",

I think the following regex should work for you:
Code: Select all
/^1[1,3-5]#@:(([5-9][0-9])|([1-9]\\d{2,}))$/

As far as I can tell, the typeRank for ramp is 12, so I have excluded that from matching. The other changes I made were just cleanup/style changes. I can't tell why it would highlight all roads over 50ft and I haven't been able to make that happen when I tested it.

If you are still having issues or if you see it highlight all segments, put a 'D' in front of the regex (i.e., D/regexgoeshere/) and check the JavaScript console to see what's going wrong.

I have to admit I'm one of the ignorant masses who had no clue that there was a difference between the two - until I read this and Googled for the explanation. We learn something new every day. Thanks!
