Have you seen many wazers around you like in Sao Paolo?
Can you let me know, please, how many you use to see in Sydney?

In peak hour around 1000.
When I joined about a bit over 2 years ago it was 100-200.
Our numbers are small but are continuing to grow. This has been acknowledged by Waze in the past.

Waze is Awesome.

I would have thought the answer to this depend on what Event Radius has been set in the Waze Settings? Actually, I've just tested & found that the Event Radius setting seems to make no difference to anything. It's 11pm at night & I have 310 Wazers around me & 8 events, regardless of what Event Radius I set.

Hey, guys. Really. How many you use to see in Sydney?

I'm asking to have clue on number of users used by the NSW traffic company to measure the report response to crashes and incidents. How many Wazers by Wazer Around You feature in Sydney?

Thanks,
Carlos.

Yes, Sir! I can see your eyes are everywhere [emoji2] My question was just to have reference for a presentation. At that time NWS traffic company was saving $150,000.00 per 100 crashes. I suppose they are saving much more today with waze's partnership.

You are right on numbers however such features is independent of event radius. The metro is defined by the staff and it is the only stuff that matters for Wazer Arround You calculation. It means that you will get always same number of users online for that area independently of were you are in it at a defined moment. Also, if staffs don't change the metro's geometry, number of users online can be roughly and relatively compared along the time.
