Waze routes through road closure

Hey!

Can you please explain this UR?

Waze routes through this segment which had an active real time closure at the time of the UR. (It was last modified on 03.09.2016.) Within the comments Szili17 explains that there are short periods when closures are simply discarded by the routing engine. Is this true?

Saw a UR this morning that Waze was routing a user this morning through an active closure - this closure has been in place for several months now and is still active. There had been NO reports at all prior to today. I wonder if it has anything to do with the new Waze map update last night.

Depending on when RTCs are entered, they could impact routing if they don't detour properly. Alternatively, RTCs have been known to briefly fail on their own, especially during Waze's maintenance cycles, since they kind of straddle the fence between WME and the routing engine.

A lot of editors are noticing broken things in WME today, scripts not working, extensions not working, closures failing, etc.

Indeed there were issues with the closures.

They're supposed to fixed now.
