I agree. It's remarkable how often Waze has helped out in unusual situations, even on innocuous short trips.

Heavy Snow System in Chicago

Postby JanetCrawfordPeaceful » Mon Dec 05, 2016 11:50 am

Yesterday, Chicago's forecast was 1-3 inches of snow with relatively no significant accumulation. But, we actually got about 6-8 inches.

Yesterday, before driving home from Berwyn to Chicago, I had to decide which expressway to take in this first snow. My Waze showed the Eisenhower expressway JAMMED! The Stevenson expressway displayed a bit slow but clear. So, of course I selected the Stevenson expressway home... NO problems, No delays and a very smooth ride home in a lot of slushy snow.

Waze.... Never Leave Home Without It! No more need for hapless guessing on which route to take.

Thank you Waze!!!

That's kinda how I got started using Waze; winter weather, though I was using it in Indy where the traffic does not yet compare to Chicago. I've tried other apps before finding Waze. I have since used it in Orlando, DC AND Chicago traffic as well.
