Official Feedback Thread: Android v4.19

I can tell this version to turn on an icon to show active friends (Settings, Advanced, Display and Map, Always show Map controls ON, Show Friends in Map Controls ON).

However, these only show seem to be available in portrait mode. Landscape doesn't show them properly. Yet another failure to keep things I got used to.....

The existing traffic jam bar feature is also can't be displayed in landscape mode. I wonder the tablet users who operate WAZE GPS app can enjoy all WAZE GPS features easily in landscape mode.

This has driven me crazy for about a year. More than one phone.
Symptoms:
- Both Home and Work destinations always say "Set once and go"
- The app DOES know my Home and Work (the icons are in place on the map)
- NOTHING appears to fix this. Clear cache, clear data, reinstall from scratch.

Any ideas? Any way to debug this?

Hi,

I'm running on version 7.1.1 of Android on Nexus 6P, installed the latest version of waze v4.19.0.902 over the previous one but when I start the app, it crashes after 2 seconds with the impossibility for me to activate the log debug.

I deleted the app completely and initiated the installation once again:
- Initializing, please wait
- Downloading language
- Message to activate waze
- Have an account, connect --> ok
- Accept the end user agreement
- Connect with my identifier --> ok
- Crash again

Trying to reopen crashes still

Starting another approach, I deleted the app completely and initiated the installation once again:
- Initializing, please wait
- Downloading language
- Message to activate waze
- Next (acting as a new user)
- Accept the end user agreement
- Activate the log debug
- Go to My Waze in the app
- Connect to my own account
- Connect with my own identifiers
- Crash

And I can't reopen the app to get the logs out.
Any advice on what I could do to help send out the logs ?

In the meantime I'll go with the previous version installation.

I am running Android 7.1.1 with Waze 4.19.0.3 and the location at the bottom right corner of the app where online friends would appear is no longer there. Instead there is blue drop-down button (swipe up does the same thing as the drop down). Anyone else having this issue?

Smart lock not working for me. Tick the enable box brings up the Google save password window, confirming this doesn't appear to do anything. If you go back into the smart lock menu the tick box remains disabled.

4.19.0.902 is a beta version, these issues should be posted in the beta forums, not in the release app forum. If you intended to install the release version, you should install it again from the Play Store.
