I'm not sure if any of that has anything to do with it. Detouring off the freeway and taking an alternate route is one thing, getting off just to get right back on is a good way to find some road rage. I'll just point out that nearly all of these scenarios have had recent "True Elevations" done to the freeway segments they are avoiding.

Here's another to add to the list, this one isn't in the Seattle area and is more rural. There was a single lane closure 2 miles up the road, but I'm not sure this off/on would do much.

Here's one more. No HOV, no "True Elevations". Just normal freeway off - on.

What good is adding alt names when it's not using the primary names for BDP?

We could try it. I'd be shocked if it worked. The whole reason for the virtual CD lanes are to keep Waze from taking you from the Exp Toll lanes to 405 then back to the Exp Toll Lanes.

Here's a few more. Note that none of these have anything to do with express lanes, cd lanes, funky configurations. Just straight freeway that detours to the off > on ramp for no reason. It just doesn't make any sense why we can't disable the straight on the off ramp to on ramp. It doesn't serve any purpose except to irritate drivers.

Disconnecting, saving, and reconnecting is in and of itself a hack. Nice try. Again, why on earth do we need to enable the straight for an off ramp to an on ramp? What possible purpose does it serve? Why do we bother offering this option to the system in the first place?

And all I'm asking is why do we need it in the first place? Apparently you still have no answer.

Here's another

https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lo ... st=7464557

No city name changes, no name changes, routes Freeway to Ramp to Primary Street to Ramp to original Freeway. I've taken this and it's horrid traffic on the detour.
