Along these lines, for those of us who are early alpha users, who did not get the app from the market, how do we go about upgrading versions? Through the same link from email or can we start using the version that shows up on the market?

we were planning on sending an email to let you know that it's now available but didn't want to spam the alphas (as we just sent you one the day before launch)
The version on the market is actually the same one that was sent to you (99.2.3) but you should download it from the market so future updates will be automated... with that said, we might still send one last email to all alphas asking to download waze from the market... and post a review

Fixes will come up approx. every other week. As per a version history / bug fixes - we definitely want to have this available (probably on the web) and hopefully it will be available soon.
