I'd like to see a different type of camera added. In my city, we dont have enforced red light or speed cameras, but recently there have been some added in exclusive bus lanes, so they would be respected. But editors in my area are adding speed cameras, and it's just not the same...

And besides, some exclusive bus lanes are time dependant, so they don't work every hour nor every day.

BUMP for #7. Here, here!!! This is #1 in my book.

7. Create an "Add current location" option to record personal destinations in the navigation menu.

A very simple thing I'd like to have on the main page is a bar displaying the battery-status of the smartphone. I only have one port in my car and can't charge my phone and something else at the same time.
While this should be something your phone does, mine does. The charge issue isn't difficult to address without too much expense. You should look into a DC Socket Splitter Can allow you to use more than one charger at once. A simple double socket adapter is all you should need. Another option depending on the connectors your GPS uses would be a car charger for your phone with an additional USB port or a charger plug with multiple USB ports. Hope you can find something that fits your needs. (Note: both links are just to Google search results for the two device types)

Next comment:
- It's easy for someone to know who you are and where you live, when you're home or not, etc. over time.
- Events, such as construction or accidents disappear/timeout too quickly
On the first point it's already been discussed how poor a source of timing information that really is. And how knowing when you get home if it actually even plotted you at your destination, which it's not supposed to do, isn't dangerous information. Waze displays a random 20 of the nearest Wazers, but not when they are within a certain distance from their end points. I've watched for siblings (who use Waze) when I knew they were coming to visit. So far I've only seen one, about two miles out and seconds after I saw her Icon on Waze she walked in the door. The Icons you see on the screen have at minimum a four minute time delay.

Events time out early sometimes even in populated areas. But I agree that certain events shouldn't time out very quickly regardless of where they are UNLESS another Wazer clicks the "Not There" button when they get the warning. Construction events should last no less than two hours without a confirmation update from another Wazer and Accidents, depending on the severity shouldn't time out in less than 30 min for minor and and hour min for a major, and of course if a passing Wazer marks it "Not There" when they drive through the warning it should disappear.

Well one thing that might work for checking Waze at home, is make sure the GPS is turned off before starting Waze, if it doesn't know your position it can't exactly report any jams anywhere. That doesn't help with biking or the like, but it's a fix for one activity not occurring while on the road.

Would likely require a modification to the TOS/legal/privacy gibberish, but could be possible. Although, a wazer's speed, points and rank aren't currently correct either, so ....
And direction is usually pretty easy to figure out. If you see them once ahead of you and then that's it, they were heading the opposite direction. If every time you pass their position they re-appear in front of you, they are heading the same direction as you. Just several miles/minutes ahead of you.

Go for a drive, and get stuck in the jam. There is currently no method of injecting such data into the system without driving through the location.

No more landmark types, we are trying to get Waze to pare down the list substantially. Too many landmarks just turns into a blob of solid landmark that is no better than no landmarks, in fact it's worse because now you have all the place names floating around in the blob with no set reference point as to where they are.

I would like to see the ability to have an option to draft a map problem, saving until later when you're stopped someplace, and finishing the draft. Would be able to put more details into the map problem that you could not via a voice recording while driving.
