+1 for Samsung Galaxy S9 & Android Auto. Unfortunately for me, no updates available in the play store for either of these apps =(

Are you referring to the waze problem in Android Auto?. Or the waze problem on your phone?orenparag wrote:Hi, I am having the exact same problem, but managed to find a workaround that makes waze work - simply open google maps in the background, then go back to waze - it'll work fine (reporting the right location). Its likely something to do with the location background process that's being put to sleep be the OS for waze, but not for google maps.
The problem IS with Waze and it should be fixed, but this workaround will let you use Waze properly, until they release a fix/update for this issue
Doesn't seem like there's one yet. This has been going on for some of us for over a month already. It seems like most (if not all) Samsung phones have issues with this.Adrock318 wrote:Is there an official fix for this yet? This just recently started on my Galaxy S10 Plus
Complete noob here. How did you go back to 4.6? Is there an easy way to roll back?HernanCavagni wrote:using version 4.6 of AA solved the problem. I think Waze should stand firm against Google to verify what's going on.
My phone is Samsung Galaxy S10+
I tried that yesterday. Unfortunately, that didn't fix it for me. It worked for a few minutes, but then the arrow became a dot again and couldn't find my GPS locationrdchaves wrote: After connect your phone to AA (on the car) just open Google Maps and go back to Waze. It will work until you disconnect yor phone. Every time that you connect your phone to AA it will be necessary!
Incorrect.Fredo-p wrote:To clear things up, when everyone is saying Waze and AA they mean via their phone correct?
Reports have been submitted by a few of us. What's sad is that there is another thread, (also with hundreds of posts)....and a lot people are having the same issue we do (waze not working when plugged into car via AA).Fredo-p wrote:Ahh...gotcha. Sonall these complaints and nonresponse from a champ that it's a known issue and a bug has been submitted? So many posts I don't know how far back to look to see if someone submitted a bug report.
